Happy Monday Friends!

I just wanted to share this sweet and elegant look, highlighting my favorite color to wear, white!
White is a perfect color combination for any occasion, and flatters every skin color.
I love that with a simple white on white ensemble, no matter how much time has passed, your look will always reflect timelessness and class.

I love pairing white pants with white tops in my downtime, or dressing up a great skirt with a white blouse or sweater. However, since white expands and black hides all those curves and dimples (if you know what I mean ladies) it may be difficult to “pull off” an all white look, so follow these three simple rules when dressing in white:

1. If pairing a skirt or pants, choose a style that will hug the tiniest part of your waist, not your
hips. (I love high-rise or even mid-rise & visit my seamstress regularly).

2. Choose a fabric that is not see-through! Whether picking up a dress, skirt or a pant, make sure
your fabric is thick and sturdy. This will lay better on the body and will flatter your shape.

3. Size up if necessary! Don’t be afraid to size up to loosen the fit just a bit. More often than not I
see white being worn in a way-to-tight manner which does not slim, but instead draw
attention to the stretched ripple areas. It’s ok to size up, because believe it or not, it
may add a slimming effect.

I hope you find these tips helpful, and as always thanks for stopping by!

Hi Guys!
I’ve been so busy adjusting to life after college, and working full-time!! It’s
definitely a change, but I am so happy to have my life back!

I wanted to share a really simply look idea that is classic, yet chic and edgy.
If you ever find yourself running late to an obligation and have a hard time finding something
to wear, then just go with the simple black and white enable. Pairing black pants with a white top
and jacket is super sleek, and spicing up the pants to “leather” pants and pairing the entire
look with pumps just dresses up the entire look. This brings the
feel of modernism, sophistication, and class.

I chose gold accessories for this look to go with the gold buttons on this
amazing MissGuided Blazer. Im not sure if you have heard of MissGuided
before, but its am amazing site with really affortable pieces.
I received a little bundle of goodies from MissGuided for my birthday this year,
and I am looking forward to styling some of their looks for you guys.
I kept the hair really simple and sleek, which takes about 2 minutes to do, and always looks effortless.

I hope this look inspires you and as always thanks for stopping by!

The ultimate tropical wish list..

After my College Graduation, my hubs decided to reward me with
a tropical getaway to one of the places on our bucket list (which we
created together in our first year of marriage).
Ive been so excited to take a little break before I begin
working full time for the first time ever over the summer and then begin my
rotations in the fall.
So for some inspiration, I’ve been
gathering some of my favorite pieces into a perfect wish list for the
perfect tropical getaway.
I’ve been inspired by whites, nautical, and lacy things while I pack away!
Each item is linked to some of my favorite shopping sites!

P.S. for all of those asking from my snapchat (vlagoyda ) we are at the Turks & Caicos Islands.

What is a location on your bucket list that you would like to visit one day?
Please share in the comments below!

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Hello lovelies! So, I want to talk about a few of my staples for spring and summer.
I think a must item is a great moto-jacket in any color and material.
Its one of those things that you can really add to almost any outfit
with jeans, skirts, and dresses to get the ultimate cool and put together vibe. A moto-jacket can be worn at any age and gives the perfect amount of edge.

My second staple is a white skinny jean, and I have been living in these
Topshop jeans for months (I prefer high-waisted because they elongate the legs, and are honestly more comfortable). White jeans are awesome because you can
go from day to night by pairing them with light fun colors in the day, and neutral or
darker colors in the evening. Perfect for weekend lunch with
the girls or date night with the hubs.

For those who know me, know how much I love my pop of color somewhere in
the outfit, but somethings its’ all about going to the basics.

If you haven’t already, checkout my picks for the Nordstrom Sale below. Its the
best time to buy pieces for weddings, summer nights and all other fun occasions!

Glowing Green Smoothie

Here is my favorite green smoothie recipe I make on those mornings
when I don’t really have a big appetite, but still want something satisfying, refreshing,
and nutrient dense. I make this smoothie mainly in the summer time
because of how refreshing and delicious it is.

Ingredients:
1 banana
1/2 – 1c spinach or kale (your preference)
1 small apple or 1/2 large apple
1/2 lemon, skin removed of course
1 orange
1/2-3/4c water
ice

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Enjoy right away!

Nightstand DIY

Nightstand: IKEA! | Overlays: O’verlays | Glue, Gold Spray paint and Brush: Michaels
This is my first DIY! And I was so, so excited to do it!
Many of you don’t know, but I actually wanted to belong to the art and design world. But as life would have it, I became interested in science & nutrition so here I am on the road to become a Dietitian. Now back to this DIY, I did this little project a few weeks ago when I needed to take a little mental break from my studies.

My original white nightstand was unfortunately destroyed by rose hip oil that had spilled all over it in the night, and lifted the white polish of the stand, yellowing the night stand. So I decided to replace both all together and create something I haven’t seen in stores before.

This fun little project only cost me under $130 dollars for both stands! So I thought that was pretty awesome! These O’verlays are so fun and easy to use I am already planning my next project!

Materials Needed:

– 2 Night stands/dressers
– 2 O’verlays
– Glue
– Spray Paint (I used Gold)
– Brush (Optional)

How to Achieve this Nightstand look in three easy steps:

1. Assemble nightstands, and spray the O’verlays with paint on one side (allow at least 1-2 hours to dry).

2. Lay out the O’verlay on the nightstand to align it the way you desire.
Using the Glue and brush, glue the O’verlay unto the nightstand and lay the nightstand on its back to allow the O’verlay to stick on and dry without sliding off.

3.  Once Completely dry, place the nightstand upright and top it with your cute lamp/decor!
And that’s really it!

Hope you guys enjoyed this little DIY, and Im looking forward to posting more of them on here!

*Note: If you decide to make your own using O’verlays, tag me on instagram (@allthingsvictoria) so that I can admire your work too!

Dandelions & Busyness

dress: Zara | belt: Hermes (similar here) | shoes: Jimmy Choo  | sunnies: Fendi | bag: Celine
Hi there! Can you believe its May already?! I know I sure can’t! The time seems to fly by these days and I find myself spending my nights buried in stacks of books, research papers, and projects. For those that don’t know, Im a full time student in the works to become a Dietitian and this year is a big one for me because I’M GRADUATING! Although my days are hectic, I’m really learning the importance of slowing down, listening to my body and stopping to smell the
roses (or in this case, dandelions?!).
I wanted to share a small and easy tip for those who want something different or new in their Spring-Summer wardrobe. Did you know that if you buy a thin trench like long coat (such as the one pictured above) you can belt it and wear it as a

1.) Dress 2.) Trench/coat on a chillier day and/or 3.) Vacation cover-up/kimono-ish.
I love a multipurpose piece such as this one in a bright fun color. It can definitely brighten up any wardrobe for a few seasons other than Spring.

It’s finally getting warmer in New York so you know what that means, T-shirts!!  I am so excited to transition into lighter Spring clothing, shoes and colors. I love wearing white so much, but today I’ve decided to bring in a pop of color with this amazing sleeveless coat from Nordstrom – and hurry on to get it because it’s on sale! This outfit is a great transition into Spring weather, and this coat can be paired with long sleeve, short sleeve tops, jeans, pants, shorts and dresses.

Let’s talk hair..

8-10+ inches of hair growth in one year ~ Naturally
Read on to find out how…
My hair has been getting a lot of attention lately, and here is a little breakdown of some of the key things I have incorporated into my lifestyle that have made a difference.
For the past few years I have kept my hair about medium length (about a few inches past my shoulders). I used to have long hair when I was younger and I decided to give it a go again. The following are things I have been doing throughout the year to promote hair growth.
Disclaimer: No vitamins, supplements, or other unnatural substances were taken to achieve hair growth. Also no hair extensions are worn in either picture above.

Ok, here we go:

1. The first thing I began doing is washing hair less! Dry shampoo has become my best friend. I wash my hair every 4-5 days now. It took me a few weeks to get used to it, but the longer I kept doing it the less oily my hair became. I noticed a big difference in my hair when I began doing this.
Love this try shampoo: Here
This one too: Here

2. Try a hair mask or overnight treatment 2-3x a week! Not only does this make my hair so strong and shiny, but it helps keep my hair hydrated and prevent breaking!
Love this overnight treatment: Perfect Hair Day Night Cap
Hair Mask: Bumble and Bumble

3. Massage your scalp before you wash your hair or before bed for 3-5 minutes. This helps increase blood flow and reactivate hair follicles which increase hair growth.

4. Ditch your mousse, hair spray and teasing comb. This is something I wanted to test on myself because I heard that hairspray as well as teasing your hair may lead to hair loss. I stopped using mousse, hair spray and teasing for about a year (unless its a special occasion like birthdays or new years). I basically keep my hair very minimalistic on the daily and try not to damage to with anything (no curling irons or flat irons either unless its a special night out).

5. Food, food and food! Skip the supplements! Get all of your vitamins and minerals from foods like salmon, avocado, dark leafy greens, eggs and other high protein foods, walnuts and hazelnuts. I was really curious if vitamins like biotin and viviscal would help, but I decided to try the au naturale route ever since I became a vegetarian. The biggest thing I have changed about my diet is becoming a vegetarian about a year ago. I am not saying you must be a vegetarian but try including more raw fruits and vegetables in your diet. And remember that no vitamin or supplement can be replaced with a supplement alone. A healthy diet is key.

6. Brush your hair often to prevent tangling! This is my biggest pet peeve about my hair, and I carry a brush with me everywhere I go. I also love using detangling sprays almost everyday.

Love this one
and this one here too

7. Use a wide comb to brush wet hair to prevent breakage. Hair is at its weakest when it is wet, so a wide brim comb will help detangle long locks.

8. Get a trim about every 8 weeks just to sweep off those little split ends and prevent breakage and thinning tips.

9. Sleep with a loose braid. Now, I dont do this every night, but about 3-4 times a week. I used to sleep with a tight bun, but this actually promotes breakage, so now I try to sleep with a big loose braid to keep my hair together, prevent tangling, and breakage.

10. Keep it simple, don’t do your hair on days you have nothing going on, keep it simple with a quick braid, natural waves, ora sleek ponytail. This helps you prevent unnecessary damage and stress to your hair and scalp.

11. Coconut oil mask once a month for moisture. Apply melted coconut oil to hair, concentrating on the ends. Leave on for an hour or braid hair and leave overnight and shampoo in the morning. Hair will be so silky and soft.

The following are all the hair products I currently use and have been loving over the past year:

1. Kerastase Initialiste: Recommended to me by my hair stylist last year to prevent hair loss and help activate hair follicles for growth. I apply this on my scalp before I dry my hair once a week after I shower.

2. Oribe Split End Seal: Magic in a bottle basically for anyone who has split ends.

3. Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Primer: This stuff is my favorite. I spray it unto damp hair for protection, but also throughout the week when my hair gets dryer to give it body, shine and softness. If you don’t own this and you love medium to long hair then you are missing out. This product works amazingly well as a hair detangler too (which has been my biggest issue for the past few months).

I hope this is helpful!
