I think any expectant mom will tell you how hard it is to find good maternity

clothes! I feel like everything in stores is so outdated, so, so loose, and overall

looks like a big tent.

But after a little online hunting I’ve found some great

alternatives that offer stylish & comfy clothes!

My favorite things about maternity clothes are the pants!

I thought I would be in

my skinny jeans for most of my pregnancy

(which I haven’t wore since last month),

however maternity skinny jeans are so much more comfortable

and I can’t seem to put them down !

I recently have been living in a few pairs from Pea in a Pod,

Motherhood Maternity and Soon Maternity (all linked below). I love that

regular jean brands like 7 for all mankind, Joes, AG Jeans, and more

are making stylish jeans for expecting moms! The styles and cuts

are awesome, fit amazingly, and are very slimming!

I love the band around the belly because it makes me feel secure knowing my

baby isn’t getting squished and has all the room in the world to

move around.

I wear them daily to work, school, days out and when I’m just lounging around.

I think if there is one thing to really splurge on during pregnancy, its a good

comfy pair of pants or jeans, trust me you will thank me later!

Dresses and tops area lot easier since I still fit into most of the ones I

 currently own.

My Pregnancy Style:

When it comes to dressing that growing bump, I have been experimenting with a

few different looks. I realized quickly that wearing clothing that’s too loose

makes me look like I’ve doubled in size, so I try to balance out the tight/loose

look. For example if I wear a loose top, I’ll wear tight skinny jeans, and if I wear

a tight dress, I’ll pair it with a looser fitting jacket/blazer/trench coat.

My overall style is pretty much the same, as prior to pregnancy and I am finding

that as long as Im wearing comfy maternity jeans or pants I feel confident

showing off my growing bump!.

I will try to keep my looks comfy, classy & fabulous for the remainder of my

pregnancy!
